Stephany Dixon is a Detroit based portrait and lifestyle photographer who loves capturing the intimate and memorable moments of adult life as well as the charm and character of our animal friends. She believes that every being on earth has their own beautiful, individual personality and story, and she takes joy in telling those tales with her images.
Stephany made the decision to no longer eat meat in the fall of 2018 and as she searched for an organization where she could give back to farmed animals, she found Barn Sanctuary. The knowledge she gained and the experiences she had with the sanctuary residents quickly made an impact, and she made the decision never to consume animals or their byproducts again. Since that moment, animal rights advocacy became a very important part of her life, and she helps to support animal rescues/sanctuaries through her art. She hopes that her work with Barn Sanctuary will show a different side of farmed animals and promote a world in which all animals are treated with the respect, dignity, and compassion they deserve.
